PRE-PURCHASED FORMAL GOWN ALTERATIONS

No matter what your age, shape, height or design, you will be amazed that even the most minor of alterations to the most complex, can create a transformation in your appearance and how you feel about yourself when wearing what will become your "favourite" dress. No more adjusting, no more pulling... it just fits and feels perfect, and you look wonderful!

This is more simple than you may realise, seen through the eye's of an expert, when you can't quite put your finger on what is not quite right with your Gown/dress. Sometimes it is as simple as having your hemline adjusted to the most flattering part of your leg (below or above the calf, never "on" the calf. This is the widest and most unflattering look... or have it just below the kneecap) Heather will show you the possibilities of some minor changes that will make you feel and look just fabulous.

Quotes will naturally vary depending on the amount and complexity of the alterations required, but hems will generally start at $35-50 (depending on the number of layers), bodice adjustments from $35-75 (depending on how much the dress needs to be undone to get to the alteration through lining layers etc, and if beading/rouching/lacework also needs to be removed and reapplied) and skirt reshaping from $25-50 (tapering a full skirt to more slimline shape for example, or simply taking in/out a little on the hip etc).

Due to my large workload, calling 3 months from your date, will ensure that I will be available to help you, and make appropriate dates for your fittings and both our schedules. Thank you.

Usually you will require 1-2 fittings, depending on the amount/complexity of the actual alteration required, with the final being done usually 2-3 weeks from your event, to ensure a perfect fit. naturally, if your alteration is an emergency (and they happen!) then please still call as if it is at all possible, I certainly will do my best to accommodate.

Payments are generally made over your appointment dates, or for simple alterations, at collection. For your convenience, Heather accepts cash, and Eftpos for Visa, Mastercard and Direct Debit from your account.
